On a freezing, crystal-clear night, I ventured out to a waterfall I had discovered north of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Braving the sub-zero temperatures for over two hours, I realized after just 30 minutes that my camera lens had
completely fogged over, rendering much of the effort seemingly wasted. Initially, I felt the fog and mist from
the waterfall detracted from my original vision.
But over time, this image grew on me, and now it stands as one of my favorites—a reminder that beauty often reveals
itself in unexpected ways.
