Price Falls, located at the Falls Creek Conference Center near Davis, holds the title of my favorite waterfall in Oklahoma and is featured multiple times on this site.
In early December, an unseasonably late cold snap swept across Oklahoma, plunging temperatures below freezing for nearly a week, with some areas dipping
into negative values. In the midst of this freeze, a strong low-pressure system brought a moderate snowstorm to the Central Plains. Taking advantage of a
day off from class due to cancellations, I made the trip to Price Falls and captured this stunning, enchanted scene at sunset—a moment of pure winter magic.
