In early December, a surprisingly late fall cold snap hit the entire state of Oklahoma. With temperatures below freezing in some places for almost a week, and temperatures reaching as low as negative values. In the middle of this cold snap, a potent low level storm formed and tracked across the Central Plains, with it a moderate snow storm. Seizing a day off class because of cancellations, I traveled to Price Falls and captured this truly breathtaking and enchanted moment at sunset.

Price Falls, located at the Falls Creek Conference Center near Davis is my favorite waterfall to visit in the state of Oklahoma and is seen several times on this site.In early December, a surprisingly late fall cold snap hit the entire state of Oklahoma.
