I made it to the falls just as the sunlight started to spill into the valley, helping burn off some of the fog, slowly revealing the upper tiers of the waterfall. For a good thirty to forty-five minutes I had this place to myself before a few other hikers arrived. Its popularity in the region is becoming unparalleled, another reason why I chose to start my hike here in the morning.

To start Falls Creek Falls is one of my favorite waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest and one that I would never get tired of hiking to. I started at the trailhead in the dark as I suspected the lingering fog would quickly burn off when the sun rose.I made it to the falls just as the sunlight started to spill into the valley, helping burn off some of the fog, slowly revealing the upper tiers of the waterfall.
