While hiking through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, I came across this simple yet stunning cascade flowing down the mountain into the valley below.
It's amazing how the landscape changes with the seasons—during the dry period, you might not even notice this cascade is there.
I found just as much joy in this cascade as I did in the waterfall at the end of my hike. There's something about the simplicity of the scene, with the green moss
shimmering in the early morning dew. Often, true beauty and hidden gems appear when we least expect them.
