On this day, a friend and I decided to stay around the Oklahoma City Metro instead of heading west to intercept storms forming along the dryline.
We caught up with this weakening Low Precipitation (LP) Supercell just north of El Reno. As seen in the photo, the structure had detached
from the main updraft and was slowly fading away. The storms along the dryline turned out to be less photogenic than expected, making our decision
to stay in the metro a wise one—one of the few good calls of 2013. If you look closely at the LP structure, you can almost make out a pair of eyes,
a nose, and a mouth, which inspired the name "Looking Out From Within".
