While hiking through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, I stumbled upon this simple yet beautiful cascade flowing down the mountain into the
valley below. It's remarkable how the time of year can change the landscape—during the dry season, you might not even know this cascade exists.
I found as much joy in this cascade as I did in the waterfall at the end of my hike. There's something about the simplicity of the scene, with the
green moss glistening in the early morning dew. Sometimes, true beauty and hidden treasures reveal themselves when we least expect it.
